You are invited to participate in Point Pleasant affairs by your presence at the Annual meeting or through your proxies and comments.

You are hereby notified of the 2007 Annual meetings of PPVOA to be held at Point Pleasant Resort, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands as follows:

Point Pleasant Condominium Owners Association (PPOA) scheduled for 8:30 AM on October 20, 2007

Antilles Resort Open Meeting following adjournment

                       

Agendas for these meetings and the proposed year 2008 PPHOA budget are attached as applicable.  The budget has been reviewed and approved for adoption by the Board of Directors.

As we prepare for the election of Board members:

Bruno Battistoli (Board Endorsed), Bob Glover (Board Endorsed), Lee Wright, Tom Custer, Tom Juracek have expressed an interest and willingness in being appointed/elected to the Board of Directors.  Please note that Battistoli and Glover are board endorsed.

However, other candidates can be voted for by writing in their names on the proxies, provided those candidates indicate their willingness to serve.

Proxies are attached for Point Pleasant Condominium Owners Association to enable all unit owners to vote on the budget and Board membership. Each unit owner(s) MUST VOTE these issues themselves; however, provision is made on the proxies for unit owners to designate the Board of Directors or other owner of their choice to vote their proxy on such other matters as may come before the owners' meeting.

 

In reviewing the agenda, be aware that any additional items that you would like to have discussed at the applicable meeting may be added to the agenda.  We must receive all questions or requests well in advance to complete any required analysis prior to the meeting.  This includes questions from owners who are planning to attend the meeting.  Questions should be directed in writing to the Manager, Point Pleasant Resort. If you cannot attend and wish to make comments concerning the agenda items presented, please forward your comments in the enclosed envelope along with your executed proxy forms.

 

It is important that ALL eligible owners complete and return the appropriate proxies.  Please mail proxies to Manager, Point Pleasant Resort in the enclosed envelope in time to be received by him not later than October 13, 2007. If proxies cannot be sent in time to be received by that date, please fax them to the Manager at Point Pleasant at (340)777-7452.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OWNERS, WHETHER ATTENDING THE MEETING OR NOT, MUST SEND IN PROXIES. YOU ARE URGED TO RETURN THE PROXIES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER RECEIPT OF THIS PACKAGE TO ENSURE THAT THEY WILL BE RECEIVED IN TIME FOR PROPER BOARD ACTION. PLEASE ALSO NOTE FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN THE RENTAL POOL, THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT PROXIES ENCLOSED. ONE IS FOR THE POINT PLEASANT OWNER’S ASSOCIATION AND THE OTHER IS FOR THE OWNERS PARTICIPATING IN HOTEL OPERATIONS. BOTH MUST BE FILLED IN AND RETURNED.
